Gaurdian Forces

I'll probly have a page for each someday, but use this for now!!! Note that if I say where a GF comes from, you should make up a way to get it in the RPG. This is bassically to help those playing the game. Ex: instead of drawing for Leviathan, you meet him in the ocean or somthing. Invent cool ways to find them!

Quezacotl/Thunder Storm: Quezcotl has a lightning and wind based attack. He works well against robots and machines. Thats a picture of him on the left.

Shiva/Diomond Dust: Shiva is actually a Hindu god, but in Final Fantasy, she's an ice queen. Shiva works well on fire creatures.

Ifrit/Hell Fire: Ifrit is a fire creature. He looks like a lion-man with horns, I know there's a word for that, but I can't remember! Streangly, Shiva and Ifrit are friends with each other.

Siren/Silent Voice: My personal favorite! She is a creature with no element, and does not do quite as much dammage. She a woman with wings on her head, and when she plays her harp, it casts silence (check out spell section coming soon!). In the game, you draw siren from Elvoret during the field Exam.

Brothers/Brotherly Love: The Brothers GF is actually two GFs in one. Their names are Sacred and Minotaur. As Minotaur's name suggests, thes two are bull-like beasts that walk on their hind legs. They have an earth/rock attack. They are found in the Tomb of the Unknown King.

Dioblos/Dark Messenger: One of the best GFs in the game. He uses a strong Demi spell for his attack (check spells). Dioblos lives in an alternate dimension, just waiting for someone to wake him up (hint hint! Good story material!) To get to him, talk to Cid before going to Timber the first time to get the Magical Lamp. Save before using it, because it will send you straight into a tough battle with Dioblos. Dioblos is a red and black gargoyle-like monster.

Carbuncle/Ruby Light: Oh so cute!!! Carbuncle is a green rabbit-like little dude. His power is to cast reflect on all the characters fighting on your side (check spells again!) You draw him from Edea's Igions that attack Rinoa on the first disk.

Leviathan/Tsunami: Leviathan is a serpant water creature. You draw him from Norg on disk two.

Pandemona/Tornado Zone: Wind elemental. I really can't describe how he looks... well, he looks like a mutated genie! ok, maybe not... You draw him from Fujin on disk two.

Cerberus/Counter Rockets: Ahhh, here's the big guns! Cerberus casts triple and double on everyone. (spells!) This, as you can imagine, is very handy. You find him in Galbadia Garden. You have to fight him and he'll join you.

Alexander/Holy Judgment: Alexander is a beautiful machine. His element is holy, so he's good against undead monters like zombies. You draw him from Edea on disk two.

Doomtrain/Runaway Train: Doomtrain is of coarse, a ghostly looking train. His element is poison, but he casts several status effects on the enemy: poison, darkness, silence, berserk, sleep, doom, curse, petrify, confuse, and vitality 0. Getting him is tricky. You need to get the soloman ring from Tear's Point, then six of each of the following items: Malboro Tentacles, Remedy+, Steel Pipes. Then use the ring.

Bahhumat/Mega Flare: Non-elemental. His picture is on the right up there. To get him, use the Ragnorok to fly to the very bottom left corner of the map. In the Deep Sea Research Center there, answer his questions correctly in this order: "It's not our will to fight" then "Never" then the third one hidden under "None of your buisiness" Then fight him!

!!!EDEN!!!/Eternal Breath: Having this one just makes you feel special! I can't really describe this one, either.... I know! That ship from Close Encounters of the Third Kind! Maybe not...
No element, just a lot of hurt! To get it, beat Bahamat, then fly out of the center, land somewhere, and fly back in. Solve the puzzle to get to the bottom of the lab, it's easier with Zell. There, you'll fight ULTIMA WEOPON who is TOUGH!!(not nearly as hard as ruby and emerald though!) Draw Eden from it!!

Jumbo Cactaur/1000 Needles: Cactaur is, well... he's a giant cactus! He shoots his needles at the enemy. He's on an Island in the Centra/Esthar area, to fight him, just run into him. His weakness is water. Be careful, he can kill a character in one blow, and he runs away a lot.

Tonberry King/Chef's Knife: This guy's not a very good fighter at first, he wabbles in and doinks (really, that's what it says! Doink!) the enemy with his chef's knife. He does get better with practice though. He looks like a hmmmm.... he looks like charmander from pokemon (I know! I said not pokemon!), but he's green and wears a robe. To get him, go to the Centra Ruins and kill 18 or more tonburrys. Then you will fight Tonburry King.

Others: These can not be junctioned

Odin: The legendary Norse horseman. He's in the centra ruins, If you beat him, he'll help you in battles 1 out of 10 times.

Pheonix: Don't Quit until you see game over! After using an item called pheonix pinnion in battle, the pheonix will come to revive you if you die, somtimes. I've seen it come three times in a row once, when revive was disabled.

Boko the Chocobo: Solve a puzzle in a choccobo forrest, and use a gyssal green in battle! This cute yellow bird will help you in battle!

MiniMog: A cute moogle that dances to cure your GFs

Moomba: The cat-like creatures befriended by Laguna.

Gilgimesh: This guy will eventually take Odin's place.

Man's best friend A Gaurdian Force, known as a GF, is simply put, a monster that's on your side (No! not like Pokemon!). Some of the GFs have been around since Final Fantasy 2. Shiva and Ifrit are two old favorites. Without a GF, humans can not use magic. How does one go about obtaining a GF? First you have to "meet" the monster. They can talk and some have human likenesses. You have to convince a GF to join you, by offering it stuff (Doomtrain) or just by beating it in battle (Ifirit). Then the GF "gives you its essence" or bassically makes it where you can summon it. This is usually reffered to as "junction". So, before heading into a harsh battle someone might say, "Have you junctioned a GF?" This information can be used for the RPG, or if you're having trouble with the game. I'll have more pictures soon!
