How to Play

Even if you have not played FF8, you can still join. You can play a character from the game (Squall, Quistis, Xu, Fujin), but making up your own is more convienient. And, as a feature unique to my site (hah! I told you I wasn't coping!) you can be a character from any other Sci-fi/fantasy orientated series. So, you could be from another game, like Feena of Grandia; an Anime, like Heero of Gundam Wing; or a TV show. (Please no Xena, please!) Please choose carefully and make it fit into the Final Fantasy world. Ex. if you are a renagade mecha pilot like Heero, you would probrably originate from the country of Esthar, since they are the only ones with that much technolgy. If you were a dcendant of an ancient race looking for spirit stones, like feena, well I think you get the picture. Think cross-over.

The story will not run exactly as the game does, so say, if you are Rinoa you don't have to end up with Squall, you can go off and date Zell if you want to!

I have changed the how to play rules a little. (As if anybody was reading them) I'm no longer pursuing the e-mail idea, though if this message board thing doesn't work out, I may have to resort to it. Also, I have decided to let everyone free on how to write them. 1st person, 3rd person, quotations, colons, I don't care which you use.

As for the actual playing, basically, it's a continuing fanfic written from your character's point of view. Look at the message board, and if you're still confused, you may need mental help. Of course, there's nothing wrong with mental help, hell knows I need some! So e-mail me if you're lost.
