Story

In another world with no name, monsters roam the country side. Scientist explain this with the Lunar Cry theory, that they somehow came from the moon. In this modern world, sorceresses have ruled for hundreds of years. Some were good and some were evil, and they were servered by knights like in a fairy tale. The most recent one, Adel, was very evil and cruel, but she dissapeared along with the entire civilization of Esthar on the east side of the world. Since then, the world has been relitivly at peace, with very little war. However, a country called Galbadia has been attacking nations for causes unknown.
There are 3 facilities in the world called Gardens: Balamb Garden on the island of Balamb, Trabia Garden in the northern region, and Galbadia Garden on the western continent. These Gardens serve as orphanages and scools. They send thier ellite students, seeDs, on mercenary missions.
